It looks to me as though the problem is occurring now. I'm getting the "Long running dialplan script" error, and I've completely simplified my dialplan as follows:

#Ruby
if sys.In then
sys.Dial("local", 20)
else
sys.Dial(whatever)
end

Long term statistics?

Hi, The real-time monitoring stats available from http://www.mysipswitch.com/realtimemonitoring.aspx provide interesting data. Is there any chance of adding more long-term stats? It would be great to see the gradual climb of e.g. Registered Contacts over that last few months (or longer) to see how t...

I have both voipcheap.co.uk and voipcheap.com accounts. I successfully made one call using the uk account this morning (using sip.voipcheap.co.uk). The subsequent ones were all rejected (but I wasn't charged either). I haven't tried the voipcheap.com account with MSS in the last week. I'm OK with be...

Outage

At about 11.40 I noticed my registration to MSS had gone down. I rebooted my phone and it re-registered with MSS OK. However, calls into numbers on providers with whom MSS register are not working. When I go to the monitoring page on MSS I get the following where the registrations should appear: Err...

For the record, this appeared to be a bug in my phone (an Aastra running 2.2 firmware). Now I have upgraded to Aastra's latest release (2.3) it is now working correctly.

Thanks to Aaron for his support.

It looks to me like MSS had an outage at around 2pm.

I noticed my phone was without service, and a reboot cleared it up. I speculate a MSS outage, as the number of registered contacts at 2pm took a nose-dive and it is now back close to where it was.

Hi Aaron, No, my provider definitely doesn't use Asterisk, so that won't be the problem I've got the SIP trace as you describe, and it appears that, when my SIP phone sends a BYE mysipswitch is rejecting it (and this, I would guess, would be why the call doesn't go). Strangely mysipswitch is also (s...

Tracking down problems with calls - and SIP tracing

Hi, For a while now I've been seeing problems where, when I make calls out via mysipswitch using one particular provider, when I finish the call (by hanging it up using my SIP phone) the call doesn't appear to be actually torn down immediately. I think this because a) when I leave voicemails for peo...
