Registration Timeout
I seem to having problem with registration of Orbtalk UK numbers. Its giving "Registration Time out error" All was OK until few days back but they are down for last couple of days. When I tried to test same accounts out of SIPSORCERY, worked fine. Any ideas if registration through SS having issues :?:

SS in VOIP-Blocked areas
Wondering if Sipsorcery can be used with ISPs who block the VOIP. Is there any encryption or other mechanism can help using SS in areas like UAE?

Re: Configuring GOIP
Isn't it like dialing only a fix number hard coded in SS & device dial plans? What I am looking for is to dial any number from extension, which should be passed on to GOIP. LAST TEST SCENARIO 1. Extension dial 444 or any number. 2. Sipsorcery dial plan doesn't see dialed number coming from the exten...

Re: Configuring GOIP
I just realized that dialplan pattern is slightly different in device than in manual. Its like in the pic below. But it seemed to work. The device takes only 5 digits under Incoming No. so I added 12345 under Incoming number in the device and changed it in SS dial plan too. Added 0888 under prefix i...

Re: Configuring GOIP
The user manual is on the link below. In this manual, VOIP setup starts at Section 4.2 on Page 31. The SIP account is added as per section 4.2.2 on page 36. Appreciate your assistance.

Re: Configuring GOIP
I am bit confused here. I am under impression that 123456 had to be replaced with the username of GOIP account. However, I just tested again with and without replacing 123456. The calling extension connects to GOIP account only when 123456 is replaced with username, as shown below. sys.Dial("goipsw@...

Re: Configuring GOIP
Thanks once again. Now when I dial number 03888888, my extension does connect to GOIP but the number 03888888 is not passed, so I have to dial it again after I connect to the extension. DialPlan 17:50:19:818 sip1(16584): New call from udp:12.89.77.152:53283 successfully authenticated by digest. Dial...

Re: Configuring GOIP
Sorry I missed to mention earlier but I did try to change 123456 with GOIP user name but it didn't work. Below is trace when I tried to dial a number 03888888.
