Login ok but no outgoing calls
Hello Aaron, I have been using ss ever since it is out. However, for the last couple of weeks I have been unable to make a single call via ss. My clients (Gigaset A580IP, X-PRO 2.0, etc.) log in successfully but no call goes through - I instantly receive error 404. On the outside, everything seems n...

Re: My SIP Switch with Google Chrome
sipsorcery works properly with Google Chrome. The only problem I have noticed is that because several "windows" are nested, the horizontal and vertical scrollbars get hidden (off-screen) behind the edges of the parent window - you need to scroll a lot in order to see the proper scrolling bars. My gu...

Hi Aaron, First, thanks for your reply. X-Lite (or, rather, X-Pro 2.0 as I prefer this more advanced version) did not register - the log shows no responses being received from the spikko server. Still, the links above show that spikko does indeed work, at least with some SIP client applications. I g...

"#" character in password makes MSS registration d
Netvoip.ch assigns SIP passwords that cannot be changed. In my case the password consist of ten digits ending with hash (#). This apparently makes MSS to drop registration (i.e., it is shown as successful but it is actually dead, no calls co through). The issue does not occur with X-Pro or Siemens G...

Spikko: registration timeout
spikko.com has recently started supporting SIP. However, for some reason not all devices are able to register. Please see the following post: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r22676744-General-SPikko-vs-asterisk16x and, from the same author, http://forums.digium.com/viewtopic.php?t=69764 I have check...

MSS has problems with # sign in a SIP password
Hi, NetVoIP, one of better known Swiss VoIP providers, has set my SIP password to end with a # sign. This password cannot be changed, unfortunately. Now, MSS has problems with the # sign, and while the NetVoIP account is shown (the monitoring page) as registered, any calls (both in and out) fail. Ne...

A year ago I more or less successfully used VoiceStick with X-Pro using the following info: registrar/proxy: 206.165.50.116 domain: i2telecom.com (I received the above from VoiceStick email support) The sound used to be choppy and X-Pro de-registered randomly, that's why I call it a half-success. I ...
