Re: Registering Sip Provider.

Thank you very much Red_leatherman, I remember doing it that way, but got wrapped around the axel when doing SIP Providers on SS with the new form and kept selecting GV rather than SIP figuring I was using GV so I should select GV. I had been on IPComms that changed their layout slightly from the ol...

Re: Registering Sip Provider.

I still can not register SIP Provider. I'm registered with SS on Linksys ATA. I register IPComms OBI SP4. GV forwards to IPComms that I control on SP4. And OBI forwards to GV to whatever DID they use to SP1 . Calls to my GV rings GV currently ring SP1 and SP4 on Obi. I set up SIP Providers on SS usi...

Re: Registering Sip Provider.

Thanks Aaron,

GV did notify me of somebody hacking my account with option to block or approve, and I OK'd it seeing they provide a location that happened to be my SS DID location. I will look for the new Telis dial plan and see if I can get it up and running.

Registering Sip Provider.

I have one ATA box registered with SS. I'm trying to fill in the Sip Provider form using the Google Voice Type selection. I used IPComms SIP info but is IPComms tel # or GV # the callback # ? The Sip provider bindings are not registered. Never the less I tried making a call and got the fin_rnr_se ke...

Re: CID & Ring issues

Update. Put in a new router and decided to also look at my ATA configuration today and noticed the Gizmo5 stun server. Switched to sipgate and all is fine.

Re: CID & Ring issues

Mike,

DoDo suggested the simple one liner plan and I had the identical symptoms, so it wasn't dial plan although I was hoping the console would point to what it is. Probably is my router or ATA device. I'll play with them.

As always, thanks for your input. You are the man.

Re: CID & Ring issues

DoDo, That gives only phone # for CID whereas Mike Telis simple plan gives name and phone #. I believe the main problem is that Ribbit & GV only give about 4 rings then vm and can't be changed therefore SS uses 2 to 3 rings before my phone rings leaving me 1-2 rings to answer. It post the CID quickl...

CID & Ring issues

I’m using the Telis simple plan for a Ribbit line and GV line. I started noticing on 3/20 that I’m having trouble with CID posting on 3 of my 4 phone brands for either line that were posting before that date. I do notice that on the brand it does post that it does so about 2-3 seconds before my phon...
