Re: voicemail tone won't go away
goezshopping, the ebay retailer from whom i bought this unit, says it is made by the "original equipment manufacturer". I've read elsewhere that, once linksys shut down production of these units in China, the manufacturer still had leftover parts and so they started putting them together themselves...

Re: voicemail tone won't go away
ok, i installed phoner lite and connected to sipsorcery. There's just a constant tone - does phoner lite have the voicemail tone by default if sipsorcery sends a voicemail signal? YOU still haven't provided an answer to the question about whether the unit is running hot and/or the brand of the adap...

Re: voicemail tone won't go away
dave - if i do a factory reset, and this was an unlocked unit, will it revert back to its old locked state? I honestly do not have an answer to your question. The symptom(s) you mentioned seem to suggest it is a counterfeit unit that is not operating within specs (as a lot of these units from HK). ...

Re: voicemail tone won't go away
Is the Pap2T-NA a genuine unit brought from a reputable supplier or was it brought from eBay HK supplier? Is the unit overheating? Does the MAC address on the Info Tab matches the MAC Address at the bottom of the unit? If yes, check the MAC address here to see if it comes back to Cisco? http://www.c...

What ATA are you using and was it working before? If so, did you make any changes to the ATA recently?

Did you try unplugging your ATA, then Router, then power up the Router, then ATA?

Re: In/Out dialplan help for 2 sip devices
I asked mrdally204 to leave the "In" dial plan blank because his dialplan did not contain any code for incoming call handling and therefore, he should rely on Sipsorcery's built-in code forwarding all incoming calls to bound SIP device(s). sys.Dial("#{sys.Username}@local") most of the people use fo...

Re: In/Out dialplan help for 2 sip devices
So, you have two SIP accounts under your SS login, let's call them mother and son . Here is what you do, step-by-step. 1. If you have your or your mother's Gizmo accounts registered to SS, disable registration(s) ("SIP providers" -> Gizmo -> uncheck "Register"). 2. Create a separate dialplan for yo...

Re: Help with Dialplan
I did exactly what Mike suggested but still deosnt work. Here is what I want to do and here is where I'm stuck: I want to use GV number for out and in calls and I want people to call me to my GV number and have my phone connected in Line 1 (Sipsorcery) of the ATA to ring. Now, SS seems OK, I'm regi...

Re: Linksys SPA2102-R Voice Configuration
Is it necessary to use " Use Auth ID: Yes " and " Auth ID: yuanyi502 " in order to register to Sipsorcery? I leave these two field blank on both my PAP2T-NA and SPA-3102 and I was able to Register! Try remove these fields to see if it makes a difference. EDIT: I entered the information with respect ...
