Re: TLS Setup and PROXY column in SIP Providers

Hi Flip, Apols for the delayed response. I did disable the TLS listeneres on teh sipsorcery proxy a while ago as they were being hammered by script kidides. TLS conenctions are a lot more expensive than UDP packets. If you do want to connect over TLS I can re-enable one of the less well known ports ...

Re: inbound issue - no audio received.

That's correct, the sipsorcery server does not touch the audio or video packets. It deals solely with the SIP packets.

Most of the time audio issues are caused by NAT. You could try restarting your router o refresh its NAT state, it's amazing how many time that's worked.

Re: GoogleContactLookup failed...

Seems the Google Contacts API got turned off:

https://developers.google.com/people/co ... -migration

There is a new "People API" but I'm not in a position to be able to migrate the sipsorcery code to it at this point.

Re: SIP Provider binding fails

The wireshark trace had long since run out. I did check the call server logs and no incoming calls came in at that time. I dug deeper into the registration agent logs and there may be an issue there. You are requesting an expiry of 120s on your craztel contact address and it looks like the server is...

Re: SIP Provider binding fails

Your test calls are ringing your crazytel DID number and seeing if the call gets to your sipsorcery account, right? Just to reiterate, a registration is nothing magic. It's simply tells a remote SIP server where a particular SIP address can be contacted. When it comes time to contact that address it...

Re: SIP Provider binding fails

The SIP Provider binding status should be reliable. It's a simple operation. If the last REGISTER request for your provider got an OK response then the timestamp gets recorded. Nothing will change between registration attempts. The binding status represents the result of the last attempt. Probably t...

Re: TLS issue?

Apologies for that.

The TCP/TLS ports on the sipsorcery server were getting bombarded last week and disrupting the service. I temporarily disabled them. They're open again now.
