Re: "remote end hungup" after switching from GV proc

Aaron, thanks and thanks for your patience and help. I did more testing today. The suspect router was a Netgear 6200 (ac-wireless) but it's not the problem I tried two other routers: my previous Trendnet 639 and the routing capability in a spa3102 with no change. I also plugged the OBIhai directly i...

Re: "remote end hungup" after switching from GV proc

Tried it again and paid more attention to what's happening.

It's not just the ringing that stops. It's the sound entirely for the caller that
stops when the ringing for the callee begins.

Make sense? I've seen this explained before it has to do with NAT maybe?
thanks

"remote end hungup" after switching from GV proc

Hi! About a month ago, I switched my GV processing from the sys.GoogleVoiceCall style of using GV to the GV sip provider : "sys.Dial(MyGV)" and all was working until I tried to make a call today. Now I get the calling phone goes dead just as the called phone starts ringing and the caller is disconne...

Re: GV ISSUE: SS can't access GV account --**SOLVED!!!**--

Had this problem and solved it by going over to google voice and changing my password to what it was already (funny it didn't say I couldn't) Background: had a situation where I changed my GV password and then forgot to go over to SS and change it in the dialplan. After too many attempts to make a p...

Re: Uri info for the asking .... GV vs other origin

HI All!

I'm still looking for pointers to where I can get documentation about each of the sip parameters names
so as to be able to retrieve them individually in a Ruby dialplan.

thanks

Re: Uri info for the asking .... GV vs other origin

Thanks Aaron. The only distinguishing changes I can see are available when I tell Google Voice to change the callerid to the google voice phone number and it doesn't 'leave' the original callerid in any location that I can see. I'll either have to look for one person's phone number, which I'm trying...

Uri info for the asking .... GV vs other origin

Hi! Sorry if this has been asked and answered someplace else. I don't know how to search for it. I'm trying to distinguish between a call coming in via Google Voice and one from a phone number (Home, WORK, etc) that is registered on GV but is also a registered Provider on SS. I.E> I have a GV number...

Re: one shot alternate provider on free account

Hi Aaron!
Thanks for writing back. I pretty much expected this answer
knowing that that's how people would abuse a FREE account.

But no thanks ..... for the answer! :-) :-( :-)

SIGH!
Take care.

one shot alternate provider on free account

I would like to be able to use Callcentric as an alternate provider for 911/933 calling on a free account that I'm already using with a different provider. I was thinking I could do something like this: 933@17772441234:password@callcentric.com Is this possible? and how would it look in a ruby dial p...
