Re: New Google Voice SIP Interop
Bill Simon posted yesterday that he is discontinuing his service. Apparently, there was no good/economical fix for the change post-XMPP.

Trouble in inbound calls to CallCentric DID
I am having trouble receiving calls made to my CallCentric DID number. I have my Grandstream ATA registered to SS and SS registered to CallCentric. Using the standard dialplan, I can make outbound calls via Google Voice, which is set to forward to the CallCentric DID. And the first time I call GV or...

Re: Outgoing Calls Not Executing (Google Voice)
I'm using a very old dial plan, one of the originals from Mike Telis: # Copyright(c) 2010 Mike Telis # Licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0 (the "License"); # you may not use this file except in compliance with the License. # You may obtain a copy of the License at # http://www.apache.org/...

Re: Outgoing Calls Not Executing (Google Voice)
I'm having the same problem. Was working before. Don't know when it stopped, but it's not working now. Argh.
Update: Just found the other GV thread, and adding the + to the callback number fixed it!

Not answering calls from SIP provider
I can't seem to get calls through my SipSorcery account from my SIP (DID) provider (IP Comms). My SipSorcery account does register successfully with my SIP provider, according to the SIP Providers screen, and my softphone binds ok to my SipSorcery account. But when I call my DID number from another ...

Google cracking down on third-party GV app?
A story today on Endgadget claims Google will be cracking down on third-party Google Voice apps: "...Singhal also confirmed that Google will now be more heavily enforcing its Terms of Service and cracking down on third-party apps that offer unauthorized calling and SMS services through Google Voice....

Re: Can't register iptel.org
I have since switched to Sip2Sip, and that works OK. And so while my immediate problem has been resolved through this workaround, I'm still curious why Sip Sorcery would not register to my IPtel account.

Can't register iptel.org
What am I doing wrong? This is usually such a simple thing to do. I have a new iptel.org SIP account that I want to connect to SIP Sorcery. I entered my iptel account name and password and the server address, but I keep getting errors when SIP Sorcery tries to register it. The error message on the S...

Re: DNS outage on July 17?
I think that was probably it, because in addition to not resolving your domain, I was unable to access even the Network Solutions web site.

DNS outage on July 17?
Yesterday, for some reason, I could not access the SipSorcery service. Neither my hardware ATAs nor my web browser were able to connect. A little investigation revealed it was a DNS problem, with the WorldNIC nameservers reporting that they didn't know anything about sipsorcery.com. I also tried to ...
