Re: Using SS with a personal static IP Address

I really don't like to move away from ss. It's my understanding that the only thing I need is a Sip/Proxy somewhere else. Or maybe just a sip server. Does anybody know any 3rd party services I can use? I was just testing installing an Asterisk server on a AWS instance but honestly, I do not need suc...

Using SS with a personal static IP Address

Hi,

Is there any way to contract my own IP Address with SS? Some Services requires me to register my IP Address and today I'm forced to build my own VM/Server somewhere else which really I do not like. It would be great to have the Option to contract in SS my own static IP.

SIMPLE for Presence and IM

Hi,

I think this is a natural service that should be included. Presence is impotant for call handling decisions too.

Codec Handling (allow, disallow) for sys.Dial sys.Callback

Have 2 problems today that I'm not able to solve. Both are related with codec handling. First, need to make sure which is the codecs priority to being selected in a call looking for the best quality possible. And, the other problem I have is that need to remove some Codecs too but depending on the T...

Re: Some strange Login Attempts. SIP Attack?

I've just changed all passwords just in case. Or at least, the ones that have Outbound access. But, need to add something important. Some login attemps have been done over sip users I usually do not use. Which means that somebody is arbitrary scanning different sip users. I'm sure this is not only o...

Some strange Login Attempts. SIP Attack?

Hello Aaron, Normally I'm not checking the console but today I was seeing loads of login attempts to my SS users. I was seeing loads of lines like this: Warn 16:35:38:052 sip1(11308): Authentication token check failed for realm=sipsorcery.com, username=XXXXXX, uri=sip:sipsorcery.com, nonce=210304785...

Re: One-way or None audio with Callback

Thus, the only problem would be the both Provider7Trunks are not using the same RTP port set? Most of the time, even if using the same VoIP Provider, depending on the destination, the call is being sent to different (internal) trunks reaching different Carriers. Each one can have different RTP port ...

Re: One-way or None audio with Callback

Hi,

I've just read about the "Don't Mangle" option in sys.Dial. Shouldn't be this feature available for sys.Callback? Today, my most successful tries with Callback are using the same Provider (voip providers or remote PBX). Maybe, it make sense to have this feature.

Session Border Controller Service in SS

Hello, I think the only problem I find today with SS is the sys.Callback service. I understand how difficult it is to bridge 2 calls going to very different destinations/operators/service/etc. But, I've been told that this could be solve implementing an Session Border Controller. If this is the case...
