Bad Call Quality and Call Ends at 30 Mins

Hello, I have used SIP Sorcery for a while now with no issues. I have the service ring 3 phones: 2 Polycom phones and an ATA. I have never had problems with this setup. I have had people tell me they cannot hear me when on calls. Furthermore, all calls end around 30 minutes. I recently switched form...

Re: Caller ID

I am sorry I am bugging you about this but I am beyond confused. I don't want to make it so when a certain number calls me, I can change the caller ID to something recognizable. What I need to know is when the phone rings, which SIP account the call is coming from. So if the caller ID should look li...

Re: Caller ID

I'm sorry but I don't understand. I have polycoms, atas, snoms etc. all show both a name and number of an incoming call. So how can I APPEND the incoming caller ID so I know which line is ringing?

When someone calls one of your 30 lines, how do you tell which account it is?

Re: Caller ID

But by using the first option, doesn't the original caller ID go away? So I know the call is on the business line, but I don't know who it is.

Re: Caller ID

I guess changing the outgoing caller ID doesn't matter now that you have explained to me how to use multiple SIP accounts with one phone. What I do not understand is incoming caller ID. What and where do I put the line of code to tell the phone to display "Mom" instead of "NAME HERE 2029987777""? Al...

Re: TOTALLY NEW! Need help from top to bottom!

So if I understand this correctly, this would, for example, allow me to use an ATA with a standard 1 line phone, but dial out from however many sip accounts I want to?

Also, just curious, why do you use so many different SIP accounts?? :)

Re: TOTALLY NEW! Need help from top to bottom!

Aaron, wanted to run my dial plans by you. Again, just a simple plan for calling regular 10 digit numbers and receiving the same type of calls. This is what I have for incoming calls. I did make some speed dials. sys.Log("New outgoing call received to #{req.URI.User}.") case req.URI.User # Speed dia...

Caller ID

Hi all, A few questions about caller ID... 1. I have a Polycom 550 using my SS account. When someone calls it shows their name, but where the phone number should show, it shows it like this: 2028896716@192.165.192.110 instead of just the callers number. How can I fix this? 2. Is there a way to appen...

Dial Plan/Digitmap for Polycom 550

Hi all, I am using a Polycom 550 with my account. I use it with a business line connected directly to that provider. Because of this, there is a dial plan built right into the phone so when I use that line, I can dial extensions, system commands, dial 9 to dial out etc. However, this does not work w...

Hello, I have NO clue what I am doing. I do not understand how to use the ruby wizards... I was hoping someone could help me with my extremely simple set up... I basically have 2 VoIP services. Then I have a business IP desk phone with my work VoIP provider. I want this: All calls (incoming and outg...
