Re: Alternatives to "req.URI.User" in Inbound Ruby Dial Plans?

So the SIP Provider (VOIP Account) would need to be created/edited to have these fields, correct? I am unsure whether I need to change the Register Contact or just the Name?? SIP Provider (SIP Account) Name: ABC.Jane # SIP Account for one User/DID, not 100 DIDs![/i] Register Contact: route.jane@loca...

Re: Call Forwarding [Day/Time Based & Dynamic State] CFWD Redirect

Okay, so instead of /^..../, /^....../ (which I thought the "," meant "or" or "either") || /^...../ . . . || /^...../ . . . use: /^....|..../ Thanks for the run down on iron ruby and why things do not work. :) Appreciate it Aaron! So what does /^.../, /^.../, /^.../ mean? Or? Either? Really? The com...

Re: Call Forwarding [Day/Time Based & Dynamic State] CFWD Redirect

I guess I could do an IF for not xxx on CLID exclusion list. Then as it is not on of those CLID, continue to IF time of day. If !~ 1234, 2345, 3456 # No. Exclusions if time.hour && time.min || time.hour && time.min # Block out times send to OOH VM else inbound rules end else inbound rules end What d...

Re: Call Forwarding [Day/Time Based & Dynamic State] CFWD Redirect

Perhaps if the use case for the DB functions was multiple simultaneous dialplans with a large number of reads and writes in each dialplan there could be a problem with data integrity but that's a general problem with data access rather than a reliability issue. If you need to did happen to need to ...

Priority: Low

Just noticed I am not getting any registration for the IPPI to SKYPE side.
I have re-entered user/pass and problem persists. I've unchecked 'register'. Please check when you have time.
Thanks mate!

Alternatives to "req.URI.User" in Inbound Ruby Dial Plans?

Hello! To get the user name that is being called you can use: case req.URI.User when "xyz" then sys.Dial("XYZ@local") However, what if you want to check based on the value of another variable? For example, check value against the VSP name under the SIP Providers - what can you use? (i.e. * inbound *...

Okay, now we're talking. I thought it was processed in serial. However, it seems all strings separated by '&' are run in parallel.
Thank Aaron - it's crystal clear.

Re: SKYPE IPPI Integration

You need the angle brackets in both cases. I see the ajax portal doesn't like the angle brackets. I'll try and sort that out. In the interim the silverlight portal handles them correctly. Thanks mate! Even the Silverlight interface did not accept it until I removed the <'s and >'s. Then I could edi...

Re: Inbound Dial Plan: Detect dialed destination number

Exactly what I just thought before searching "req.Header dialled number"... Would have to somehow split 1 account with 5-100 DIDs and have them set to separate SIP accounts, which would require pre-processing which is useless... Makes sense when you think about it... #xxx >> VSP >> A/C >> SIPSorcery...
