mmm...think I get it  Presumably if you have no caller number with your provider then a made up one cannot be imported? I have completely given up with Betamax and will never use them again. The caller ID is never accurate - can reset it and gets reinstated for a landline, but as soon as you d...

Try removing the +44 and replacing the 0 - if you are in the UK the country code is not required for Sipgate anyway. This will also be inline with your outgoing log for 07 numbers. Please let us know when you get it working. Do you have a DID number for Sipgate? If so is it working in MSS? I can't g...

I have just tested my DID number by trying to make a call in via my Sipgate account but it just says 'line busy' and it doesn't get through. I can call out via Sipgate with x-lite but cannot call in. I show my call plan config below:- #Ruby # SIP tracing : true or false sys.Trace = false sys.Log("ca...

Call Forwarding
I have configured call forwarding in MSS for incoming calls if unanswered after 15 secs. The thing is I also have an incoming DID number associated with one of my registered providers. Does this mean that if someone tries to ring my DID number via this provider the call will still be forwarded? This...

SIP Broker numbers
I noticed there is a SIP broker number for MSS for other Voip/Sip users to call us free of charge when they are online. Does this mean that if we are simply logged into MSS this number can be used to call us direct, rather than via any of our registered providers?

Maybe its time to change from Betamax like I have. Too many tech issues, mostly related to their fair use policy which is unclear to say the least, no customer service and in my experience poor quality of SIP calls. One of my new providers is callwithus.com whose international mobile rates beat any ...

Echo test?
As a new user I was wondering if you can dial an echo test number to test the connection with MSS? Calls are being routed accurately and I'm very pleased so far but yesterday I dialed a number from xlite on my pc and suddenly the audio from the other person began to stutter even though they could he...

Thanks gbonnet. Unfortunately the Sipgate account did not respond to my changing to 60, however I've heard that some other people have had problems too. I've decided to uninstall the account and just use it in fring for now. I will try it again later because apparently some people get it to register...
