Re: Dial Plans for SPA3000 PSTN & VoIP
Your SPA should forward incoming PSTN call to Sipsorcery. You need to make a DP (dialplan) in your SPA (PSTN page, one of DP 1-8), something like: (S0<:yourname@sipsorcery.com>) Then you instruct the SPA to use this DP by putting its number in the "PSTN Caller Default DP:" field. Now, incoming call ...

Re: Dial Plans for SPA3000 PSTN & VoIP
I'm using IPPI for forwarding of SIP calls to Skype, it works just great. They also support forwarding to GTalk which I never tried but reportedly it works fine. I recall that I had to add IPPI to my Skype contacts in order to receive incoming calls, probably the same is true for GTalk. I quote from...

Re: Dial Plans for SPA3000 PSTN & VoIP
1- Forward all incoming calls on PSTN of SPA3000 to my Google Talk (my GV rings on Google Talk) immediately as Google Talk isn't blocked in that region. This would be hard to accomplish. Why don't you want to use a regular SIP client instead of GTalk ? You'll have to have one for outbound calls, an...

Re: Newbe With Dial Plan Question
If your DID number is in the US, you can link it to your GV account as a "Phone" (home/work/mobile). Yes, just like your regular phone line and all incoming calls will get forwarded to your GV. If the number can't be linked to your GV account I'm afraid you'll need to get yet another GV and use it f...

Re: req object description, at least req.Header
Why don't you refer to the source code?
As to the custom headers, try this:
header = req.Header.get_unknown_header_value('my-header')

header = req.Header.get_unknown_header_value('my-header')

Re: opencnam.com for CNAM lookup
Hi Mike, I replaced the following line: @cname ||= dname; @cname ||= "#{city}, #{state}" if city && state in my Flexible dialplan Ver. 2 with: @cname ||= dname @cname ||= sys.WebGet("https://api.opencnam.com/v1/phone/#{@cid[1..-1]}?format=text",4) @cname ||= "#{city}, #{state}" if city && state and ...

Re: opencnam.com for CNAM lookup
It's not difficult to use this service (in fact, much easier than the others since you don't need to parse JSON or XML response) but ... I tried it on a dozen phones and didn't like the results, apparently their database is sketchy. So, I decided to stay with White Pages. Is there a number I could t...
