Thank you very much emoci, thats a great guide. Guillaume and I have had a few attempts at a user guide but we get wrapped up in technical explanations or obscure features; your's is much clearer. If you don't have any objections we'll incorporate your guide into the main help pages? Regards, Aaron

If you sipswitch username is joebloggs the entry in your dialplan would be:

exten=> joebloggs,1,SwitchCall(sp2user,sp2pass,pstnnumber@sp2)

Hi satphoneguy, The 3rd party SP2 would not need to support anything over than SIP and PSTN call termination so that means pretty much every one of the 2 or 3000 SIP providers out there. To them the forwarded call will look just like any other call being placed by a customer to the PSTN. The new inc...

Hi TheFug, The excalmation won't help block any numbers. If you're looking to exclude calls that have an 8 or 9 at some point in them you should use [0-7] where you have X or N. As an example if I only want to match calls that are 01, 02, --- ,07 and exclude 08 and 09 I could use: exten = _0[1-7]X.,...

It is a bit tricky and probably needs a diagram to explain properly, I'll put it on the list. Here's a quick ASCII one that may help or could make it worse. SP = SIP Provier User = This would be your ATA/Soft Phone etc. registered with the sipswitch. Outgoing Call: User -> SIP Switch -> Dialplan loo...

This feature has now been enabled. On the configuration screen there is a new checkbox that allows the dial plan to be used for incoming calls. At the moment if an anonymous call arrives to the sipswitch a lookup is done on the username and if found the call will be forwarded to the account that use...

Hi dll2002dll, If your registration works initially then I guess the asusmption would be that it is configured correctly. However it might be worth trying vbuzzer.com:80 in as the Domain/Realm. I'd say that's what the other user had. I've also done some work on the monitoring screen where the regist...
