Ok, What would the best way to do it?

I have a macbook that has OSX, and I have Windows 7 installed on bootcamp. I am not experienced at packet grabbing.

My iPhone is jailbroken and I have tethering enabled, so I can do it on my Mac. (Even on the windows boot)

A softphone, such as xlite, on windows would probably be the easiest. Once you have the softphone installed download and install http://www.wireshark.org/ and use a capture filter of "port 5060".

Got it. PM me your email address and I will email you the captures. Did one with it configured with sipgate.com, and another with sipsorcery.com. I was tethered through my iphone, and with xlite, I still didn't get incoming audio going through sipsorcery, but I did going through sipgate.com

So the captures should show you everything going on :)

Hi ISGall,

The answer to the question is no we didn't find a cause or resolution to the issue, at least as far as I'm aware. I looked over the traces provided by jaminmc and observed that RTP was only flowing in one direction, no RTP was being received from sipgate.

The only way I have heard about a user successfully solving this problem is to connect to pbxes.org and use the sipsorcery service as a trunk from it. By connecting directly to pbxes.org one way audio issues should be alleviated since they bridge the media.

Regards,
Aaron
