I finally got around to tel-netting into my ATA and seeing all those extra configurations not available from in HTML web page. I've already been successful putting DTMF inline with SIP and now I would like to fix the 10-digit issue I've always been having.
So, taken from Mike Tellis DP, local 7 digits work as the DP adds the 1<my local 3 digit area code> to the number. 11-digits work too and there's no logic for that. However, the 10-digit number is always logically messed up:
212-123-4567 gets processed as 1<my local 3 digit area code>-212-1234 when logically it should just tack on the 1.
My current ATA digitmap displays the following:
DisplayVoIPDigitmap: ([2-9]XXXXXX|1XXXXXXXXXX|0[0-9][0-9]X.T|*XX.T|#XX.T)
What should it say to get 10-digit dialing working the way it should?
thanks in advance,
Synchron
