I know what that problem is and have been working on fixing it. The Amazon servers operate behind a NAT so the SIP Proxy needs to have some extra handling that is not required on the Blueface server.

I anticipate having it fixed in the next day or two.

Aaron

Confirming that the 10 second audio cut-off on incoming calls has been fixed. No thorough tests, just a once off verbal count to 40 and it seems in good working nic.

Thank you Aaron.

Now, for me, it's just making the calls divert to mobile phone when my internet connection drops.

Hi All,

Unfortunately for those wanting to transfer their accounts to the Amazon server after last Wednesday they will need to do it manually. For individual accounts it's not that big a job all you need to do is create your new account and then copy over your dial plan and SIP providers. For me to have a steady stream of migrations would take up a lot of time.

As far as whether you should think about migrating or not there is nothing new on the Amazon service and if you can still access and use sip.mysipswitch.com you are much better off staying on it.

Regards,

Aaron

Thanks Aaron for moving my accounts. As far as I can tell everything is now functioning perfectly :D . It will simplify things when the sip.mysipswitch.com and be used rather than the IP number.

Hi Aaron

Can you kindly let me know if you are planning to completly move mysipswitch to the new setup ?

I can't access this site unless i'm behind proxy, even DNS resolution to mysipswitch.com is not working and the whole thing is frustrating to me.

i'm not nagging just asking :)

The current mysipswitch services running on the Blueface server (213.200.94.182) will be shutdown at some point in the coming months. The replacement server running the upgraded mysipswitch software will run on an Amazon Cloud instance.

Should I migrate my account to the server running now on the Amazon cloud, or wait and migrate when you upgrade/run on the Amazon cloud?

It's recommended that you wait.
