Post by Darola » Wed Nov 11, 2009 10:19 pm

Hi,

With MySipSwitch gone, and now it would appeat that SIPSorcery has gone the same way - anybody know an alternative.

Critical part of my comms now.

I guess you won't find anything like Sipsorcery.

The only way to find another Sipsorcery-like server is running your own local version.

I have paid for an account with voxalot to enable me to register with my viop providers (up to 5 for £15 per year). Only to find that SipGate (my DD provider) won't allow Voxalot to register.

Apparently this is due to a securit risk as you have to give your username and pword to a third party - which seems odd that they allowed both MSS and SS to connect.....

Anybody know a free regional DD provider for the Uk??

Try coms.com

pbxes.org or liberailvoip.it

Both not as good as MSS was! And both have a limit to the number of trunks and extensions you can have.

pbxes.org allows maximum of 60 minutes per call or 2000 minutes per month.

liberailvoip.it is Italian and needs a "Tax Number" to join, however with a bit of searching you can work out how to generate the number! Then the only difficulty (for me at least) is the Italian language!

And voxalot.com of course.
