Thank you! I have a question... could you please clarify the destiny of sip1 and sip2 DNS entries? Will they be pointing to the same IP, 69.59.142.213 ?

All DNS entries will point to the same single IP address. If a second server can ever be afforded in the future then sip2 would be allocated to a different IP. The hostname to use in ATAs and provider registration contacts is still sipsorcery.com. The sip1.sipsorcery.com and sip2.sipsorcery.com will still work but all three will resolve to exactly the same IP address.

Aaron

My ATA can't register to sipsorcery.com. DNS is pointing to new server. Is it just me?

Me three. I tried putting in the IP - still nothing. I have a SPA-2102.

Edit: BTW, something I just noticed - the server time is two minutes late.

Same here. All down.
My ata was down this afternoon. then I changed sip1/2.sipsorcery.com to sipsorcery.com this evening. it was up hours ago until now. It is down again.

Update
It's up now for me. I can dial out either local call or toll-free.

opps
Down again. only toll-free works. will try it tomorrow.

Seems like the server is up, with a couple of little troubles:

- Console isn't working. I'm able to connect on the "Console" page but then nothing happens, no messages. SSH is croaking, though
- Registration to a SIP provider behaves weird. I marked "Register" checkbox for a provider, it appears in the list of SIP provider registrations but not registered and no failure message. It's just like the registration agent's down

Logged into my account at sipsorcery.com. Everything's looking fine. But... nothing's working!!!! Neither inbound, nor outbound.
I removed one provider (shown as registered) and then added it again. It could not register.
The whole setup looks like a nonfunctional snapshot of a formally functional service.
Please do something about it.
