I'm located in the U.S., and apparently having this problem caused by Google IP Authentication blocking the
SS Server from logging in before GV dialout.
(Sadly) I just now checked out this forum, but previously had gotten Google's "Suspicious sign in prevented"
message via gmail, and unfortunately, initially responded to their verification that the
IP was not me (act first, think later
). However, before I left that screen, I checked the IP via Sam Spade,
and saw it was Aaron's IP, so I checked the box to mark it as 'my login' attempt, which should have kept
me from having a problem.
NOT! I still cannot make outgoing calls via GV (get the Temporarily UnAvailable message). I don't want to
set up another GV account, as the one I'm using is my prmary, and I'm using integrated VOIP calling under ICS
which means I'd need to change EVERYTHING over to the new account and make that my primary account. Another
reason is that I am using a fallback trunk in PBXes which is using SS...it would just be a mess to get everything
to work together again on multiple android phones and PC-based softphones.
I could use some help. My whole voice communications is set up around this, and I can't make an
outgoing call except via my backup (MagicJack).
Does anyone know of a way to check and/or reset blocked IPs on Google Accounts? Any other suggestions
or help in verifying/tracing the issue would be greatly appreciated.
