No Incoming audio with SS+LP+GV

Post by hirenpathak » Tue Dec 17, 2013 5:28 pm

Since the CallCentric is disabled for free accounts, I switched to LP + IPKall and registered to SS. Everything works except I can't hear anything aka no incoming audio. I can't even hear the ringing out. I tried it on different devices. On mobile Zoiper Softphone, Linphone Softphone and on PC Linphone. Same issue. No incoming audio.

Can Anyone please help me out?

Thank you.

^^ Bump ^^

Anybody who can help here? Its happening when I use SipSorcery settings. If I directly use LocalPhone SIP settings in the softphone, it works fine.

There are a few different things that can cause audio issues with SIP. To start with make sure your SIP device is set to use G711 ULAW as the preferred codec. After that you could try reading through this article http://www.sipsorcery.com/mainsite/Help/SIPAudio and see if that helps.

It says I can't access the page (Actually this URL http://diags.sipsorcery.com/) with supplied credentials.

How can I diagnose this?

Actually I checked the codecs. It used to work fine. I didn't change anything. But ever since the callcentric stopped working, I switched back to LocalPhone and now it stopped working. I also bought LocalPhone DID and I am using that in Sipsorcery Dialplan.
If I use LocalPhone's SIP settings in the same Linksys PAP2T device, it works fine without having any audio issue.

So there is some disconnect here that I am not sure about.

Yes I know. I still have CC account. Its just that SipSorcery stopped registering to CallCentric for free SipSorcery accounts. So can't make it work.

You can register Callcentric on SipSorcery Free Accounts.

No you can't register callcentric with a free sipsorcery account. They shut it down for free accounts. I am a little irritated because there should have been something sent out via email or somewhere stating that this was taking place. I had been continuing to pay $1.50 a month to Callcentric for E911 and it wasn't even able to be used for ever how long Sipsorcery decided to do this.

I have no problem with their decision. My problem is their lack of communication about it. Now I got to find another E911 service other than Callcentric to register on sipsorcery.
