Simple Dial Plan(as freedsin) does't work for incoming call

Post by ntorrisi » Thu Aug 09, 2012 8:57 pm

Hi,
I'm new basic customer(ntorrisi) and I've already spent many hours without solution...
I have registered a SIP Provider named vono and a SIP Account named ntorrisi_giga.
The dial plan for incoming call (gigaset_INplanl) is just sys.Dial("ntorrisi_giga@sipsorcery.com") but
1. My ATA with the sipaccount ntorrisi_giga doesn't ring
2. The Call History and the SSH/event are empty
3. vono SIP Provider forward the incoming calls to the voicemail

I suppose the SIP Provider named vovo is not really Binded but it appears in the Binding List
I'm not able to solve that problem.
Of course, out of the SIP Sorcery platform, the provider and the ATA work well.
Please, could you help me?

I just placed a test call to your account and it was forwarded to your ATA correctly.

Sometimes certain providers have quirks regarding what they will accept as a valid binding. One common one is that they only accept IP addresses and not hostnames in the Register Contact field. For your provider try changing the Register Contact to username@67.222.131.147. The 67.222.131.147 is the sipsorcery server's IP address and is the equivalent of sipsorcery.com.
