Registration issues?
Registration issues?
I used to have intermittent issues with registration with FreePhoneLine.ca (now called Fongo), where the registration seems to be up and fine in SIPSorcery, but when I receive calls to the phone number they seem to always go to voicemail as if the client were not registered.
I am asking them to check on their side, but I think it's probably best to have somebody check in SIPSorcery's side too what's going on. Aaron, can I PM you my account so you can check your logs?
Thanks!
PabloB.

Re: Registration issues?
More info from the console:
When SIP Sorcery registers, I get this:
But when I call, the console shows nothing at all. Does that mean that the registration is somehow flaky?
I have tried chaging the Register Contact to username@IP_address, but that did not seem to solve the issue.
I wonder what might be going on...
When SIP Sorcery registers, I get this:
Code: Select all
ContactRegisterInProgress 16:24:55:392 sip1(1736): Checking SIP Provider registration for FPL2.
ContactRegisterInProgress 16:24:55:392 sip1(1736): Sending initial register for 127819 and FPL2 to udp:208.65.240.44:5060.
ContactRegisterInProgress 16:24:55:408 sip1(1736): Initiating registration for 127819 on sip:voip.freephoneline.ca.
ContactRegistered 16:24:59:626 sip1(1736): Contact successfully registered for 127819 on sip:voip.freephoneline.ca, expiry 3600s.

Re: Registration issues?
One update:
From their side, they don't see any registration at all. So it seems they don't like the SIP Sorcery bindings... Any ideas?
Thanks!

Re: Registration issues?
There is definitely an issue with SIP Sorcery, as far as I can tell.
If I change my password to a known-bad one, I still get a sucessful registration in the console! That does not make a lot of sense...

Re: Registration issues?
Can you PM me your sipsorcery username along with the name you are using for the SIP provider you are having difficulties with. Can you also let me know how you are calling into the SIP provider and if it's with a PSTN number can you let me know that as well.
I've never come across a case where the sipsorcery registration agent reports it is registered when it's not (by registered I mean an OK response was received from the SIP provider). There have been lots of cases where providers require a registration contact to be in a specific format in order to forward calls to it and I suspect that's likely to be the case here.

Re: Registration issues?
Aaron,
I am having exactly same issues. No icoming calls on SS console. On both ends i.e. Freephoneline and SipSorcery the registration is ok.
I will PM you my username and FPL details.

Re: Registration issues?
Aaron,
It is fixed now!
Just changed the SIP server to voip2.freephoneline.ca and suddenly all OK
FYI: http://support.freephoneline.ca/entries ... redentials
