SS user Registration expired using UDP

Post by wilbert » Thu Jul 18, 2013 3:48 pm

I usually setup my Bria for automatic Transport selection so I haven't realized I had this problem.

If I register my SS user using UDP after the 3rd re-registration attempt my registration expired completely. I've changed registration every 120sec and same result.

But, if I register my SS user using TCP, everything goes well.

Any idea?

I also use the Bria softphone and have never encountered that issue. My guess would be your NAT is being a bit flakey. You could use the Console to detect whether the 3rd registration request is getting through to the sipsorcery server and if not it's almost certainly something up with your NAT/router.

Have report this to Bria guys because there's something unusual.

If my 5th registration wasn't successful, why Bria is not alerting me that? Ok. Maybe the Server has said Registered! and Bria works as usual. Shouldn't be a 6th Registration attempt? It never happens. Again, why Bria keeps showing that I'm Connected?

I think we have a problem in Bria.
