Delayed Greetings with Callcentric Voicemail

Post by wilbert » Fri Sep 13, 2013 5:41 pm

Hi,

This is NOT a bug but just a simple issue. When transferring a call to my voicemail using:

sys.Dial("1777XXXXXXX@in.callcentric.com")

Callers expected to listen: "The person you are trying to reach is currently unavailable....."

But, what they really listen is: "you are trying to reach....."

Is there anyway to solve this?

Thanks in advance!

Does that happen to your calls consistently? I use a callcentric voicemail box and don't experience that problem, or at least I didn't in the few test calls I just placed.

In either case there's not a lot the sipsorcery server can do as the reason for the audio being cut off is at the media/audio layer, which is direct between the callcentric server and your caller.
